Actuary - IFRS Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuary to join our IFRS reporting team, where you will play a key role in delivering accurate and well-explained IFRS results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of IFRS17 results, including the running and maintenance of the IFRS17 Engine.
  • Produce quarterly IFRS17 results and analyze movements in liabilities, risk adjustment, and CSM.
  • Collaborate with IT and other suppliers to improve the IFRS17 reporting process.
  • Work closely with Group Reporting and Accounting teams to understand output from the Engine.
  • Communicate results with key stakeholders, including Senior Leadership.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with other teams in Finance and IT.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Actuary with post-qualification experience.
  • Experience of IFRS17 reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and systems.
  • Experience in the production and delivery of financial reporting in a life organization.
  • Highly analytical and skilled problem solver with a strong commercial mindset.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills.
