Disability Services Coordinator

This role requires a professional to coordinate disability services, delivering rehabilitation interventions to enhance the skills and confidence of visually impaired individuals, promoting independence and social integration.

Home based with regular travel across Flintshire and Wrexham is required.

37 hours per week.

The successful candidate will assess and develop support plans to prevent harm or dependency due to sight loss, acting as an advocate for visually impaired people.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate disability services to deliver rehabilitation interventions.
  • Develop and implement support plans to prevent harm or dependency.
  • Advocate for visually impaired people, promoting accessible services and equality.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in vision rehabilitation or a related field.
  • Strong advocacy and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary: approximately £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
