Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Actuary to join our team at HFG Insurance Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in both Re/Insurance and develop your market understanding alongside quality actuaries and senior management.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity to help the Chief Actuary and Head of pricing expand the offering to a high calibre group of Underwriters through case pricing, building rating tools and portfolio steering. Collaborating with the broader business, working closely with underwriters, senior management, finance, claims, business planning and reserving functions. Huge input into risk selection and market navigation.

Key Responsibilities

Providing case pricing support across various classes of business and building strong relationships with underwriting teams. Peer-reviewing work for juniors and contributing to business transformation projects. Staying updated on industry best practices, new initiatives, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

GI Actuarial Pricing experience and a strong understanding of Reinsurance and direct business. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
