Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist Support Worker to join our Community Services team at Queen Alexandra Charity in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young adults with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.
About the Role: As a Specialist Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred support to clients, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being. You will work closely with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individual care plans that meet their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support: Provide one-to-one support to clients, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
- Care Planning: Work with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individual care plans.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality service delivery and effective use of resources.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. You will also require experience of working with vulnerable adults, ideally in a care or support setting.
Salary: £11.60 per hour
