Accounting and Treasury Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Treasury Manager to join our team at The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to take on a leadership role in the management of our treasury function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To manage the day-to-day operations of the treasury function, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a Finance Department of a large complex organisation, preferably in the NHS sector.
  • Accounting Technician level 4 or Certificate level of a professional accountancy (CCAB) qualification or NVQ 5 or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
