Job Title: Fabric Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the growth of our client.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of the production facility, with a focus on electrical expertise but requiring multi-disciplinary skills. This role involves performing planned maintenance tasks, conducting remedial engineering work, and identifying and reporting potential risks related to safety or equipment failures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Engineering specifications, Health & Safety policies, and current legislation.
  • Perform planned maintenance tasks to meet engineering and safety standards.
  • Conduct remedial engineering work on equipment and facilities as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
  • Identify and report any potential risks related to safety or equipment failures to management.
  • Complete and log all planned maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime and production disruption.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience working in a Maintenance Department.
  • Must be multi-skilled and be able to carry out both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding.
  • Must have worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment e.g. Plastics, Food, Extrusion, Cosmetics, Healthcare etc.
  • Excellent Mechanical Fault-finding skills.
  • Must be happy to work 12 hr days and nights.
