Overview

Ladgov is a dynamic organization seeking a highly skilled Music Director for Protestant Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our worship services and collaborating with chaplains to create meaningful musical experiences.

About the Position

This role requires a strong background in music theory, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. You will direct all worship music, select music in coordination with the chaplain, and submit requests for music resources. Additionally, you will observe safety and security requirements, ensure newly acquired music is properly cataloged, and provide personal arrangements and compositions for the choir.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead worship music at Protestant services.
  2. Select music in collaboration with the chaplain.
  3. Submit requests for music resources.
  4. Maintain safety and security protocols.
  5. Develop and implement musical arrangements.
  6. Maintain chapel musical instruments.
  7. Recruit and train choir members.
  8. Seek logistical support as needed.
Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in music, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. A bachelor's degree in music or equivalent experience is required. Strong technical skills, including vocal keyboard/piano/guitar proficiency, are essential.
