Job Description

Job Title: Contract Service Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Contract Service Designer to join our team at Barclays. As a Contract Service Designer, you will be responsible for managing and developing existing and new products and/or services, as well as owning related customer and colleague journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop product propositions and service strategies, defining priorities for delivering outcomes and leading execution of priorities.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility, legal compliance, and potential risks associated with product development and launch.
  • Monitor market trends and analyze feedback from internal employees and target customers to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage comprehensive launch plans and technical deployments for products, establishing rollout timelines, marketing strategies, training initiatives, and communication channels.
  • Monitor key metrics such as adoption rates, usage patterns, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation to assess product performance.

Assistant Vice President Expectations:

  • Consult on complex issues, providing advice to People Leaders to support resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to work done.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and business strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources, internal and external, to inform decision-making.
