Housekeeping Floor Supervisor

An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join the Rooms Department at Raffles London at the OWO.
Reporting into Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for guiding and training Room Attendants on your allocated floor and checking the standards of cleanliness in the vacant and occupied rooms to deliver the ultimate and seamless guest experience.
To ensure all bedrooms, corridors, staircases, and service areas are kept to the highest standard of cleanliness to meet The Raffles London standards and to act as an ambassador of the Raffles values during your interaction with guests and colleagues.
Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day direction and allocation of tasks for room attendants and house porters on the floor.
- Participate in or lead morning departmental meetings and/or training sessions.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure positive communication and offer support.
- Ensure smooth running of housekeeping team through effective teamwork.
- Report any maintenance faults and ensure that repairs are carried out.
- Maintain excellent grooming standards.
- Be knowledgeable of all the hotel service/outlets to respond to any guest requests/requirements and work in a warm manner with other departments.
- Ensure that the team uses Knowcross to communicate smoothly.
- Be aware of the status of all rooms to follow up and respond promptly to any room or queries.
- Always be well-groomed according to the Raffles London grooming guidelines.
- Be flexible according to the business needs.
- A proven track record and ability to provide high levels of service under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills both written and spoken.
- An understanding and willingness to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule when required.
- Recent experience within a 5-star hotel or a similar role.
- Able to work within a team.
- To be detail-oriented.
