Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician Job Description:

K NAPP is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Preston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electro-mechanical engineering and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electro-mechanical equipment, including mechanical strip-down/re-assembly, basic field wiring, machine calibration, and system testing.
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks on site MHE to a high standard.
  • Manage time via CMMS to achieve over 90% utilisation.
  • Continuously improve all aspects of new and old equipment, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
  • Work against timeframes to complete reactive repairs.

Requirements:

  • NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 in an Electro-Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • Understanding of Non-Destructive Technologies and Testing.
  • Understanding of PLC's and their function.
  • Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge beneficial.
  • Computer literate with basic Microsoft Office skills.
