Mechanical Engineering Instructor Position in Cumbria

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Trainer/Lecturer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The position involves delivering workshop-based training on milling and turning, as well as basic Mechanical Engineering theory and health & safety delivery in the classroom.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality training sessions to students pursuing the City & Guilds Engineering Technician qualification at level 2/3
- Utilize hands-on machining knowledge and experience to create engaging and effective learning experiences
- Mentor and support students in achieving their academic goals
- A Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification is essential for this role
- Good hands-on machining knowledge and experience are required
- A passion for teaching and passing on knowledge is necessary for success in this position
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to £39,447 per annum, plus a teacher's pension with employer contributions of 28.68%. A generous holiday allocation of 55 days is also included. Relocators will be considered, and a discretionary relocation package of up to £2,500 may be provided to cover property deposit, moving costs, etc.
