About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Angus Council as a Modern Apprentice and develop your skills in IT support.

You will be based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, and work towards achieving an SCQF Level 6 Diploma - Information Technology & Telecommunications Professionals.

Your duties will include manning the service desk, handling requests and incidents, and general administrative tasks using various software packages.

As part of our flexible working practices, you will have the opportunity to work from home and collaborate with colleagues in council buildings.

The salary for this role is approximately £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Please note that places on the Modern Apprenticeship programme are conditional upon securing apprenticeship funding.

Funding is available for applicants aged 16-24 and disabled and care-experienced applicants between 16-26.
