Our client, a leading company in the industry, is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of production equipment, including preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical and electrical faults
  • Liaising with suppliers and production teams to ensure efficient operations
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks and reporting any issues to the production manager
  • Assisting with the maintenance of a safe and clean work environment
  • Attending regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry developments

Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience in equipment maintenance in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) qualification desirable
