About the Role
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our clients. Your expertise in motor and generator design will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality services to our customers. In this role, you will work closely with our team to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the growth and development of our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for motors and generators
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex design problems
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports
• Mentor and train junior engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve designs and processes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the motor and generator industry
• Strong understanding of CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to mentor and train junior engineers
