**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Galliford Try Group.

As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the design of mechanical assemblies for our Treatment System products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent CAD skills, and experience working in a similar role.

**Salary:** £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

**Job Description:

  • Create, oversee and undertake the design of mechanical assemblies
  • Undertake thorough reviews of mechanical aspects of specifications / tenders / projects
  • Design / develop technically appropriate and value-engineered solutions as required
  • Produce CAD models, drawing packs, design documentation, design calculations and technical reports

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor/Inventor Professional CAD skills
  • At least 3 years' experience in a Mechanical design environment
  • Knowledge of the Water Industry
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring regulations and Machinery Directive
  • Educated to a minimum of a HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering or science discipline
