We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused ICT Support Specialist to join our team as a Digital Service Desk Technician. As a key member of our Service Desk team, you will provide first-line technical ICT support to our clients and users of ICT systems across the Health Board.
Main Responsibilities- Provide technical ICT support to clients and users of ICT systems, resolving incidents and service requests in a timely and effective manner.
- Record and track incidents and service requests using our Service Desk tool, ensuring accurate and detailed logging.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing clear and concise information on technical issues and solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the National Service Desk within the NHS Wales Informatics Service to ensure seamless support and resolution of technical issues.
- Assist clients in making effective use of ICT systems and equipment, minimizing the impact of technical problems on business operations and patient care.
- Educated to A-level standard or relevant experience in a technical environment.
- Exposure to Microsoft software, including desktop operating systems and applications.
- Understanding of network environments and technical knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to deal effectively with staff and suppliers at all levels.
