Job Description

The End User Administrator role is a critical position within NEC Software Solutions, responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our employees. As a key member of our team, you will be the single point of contact for all desktop computing environment-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
  • Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, providing end-user assistance where required.
  • Respond to and resolve IT support requests via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Configure and maintain operating systems and software applications.
  • Set up and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in desktop support or desk-side user support.
  • Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
  • Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
  • Software and Hardware Troubleshooting.
  • Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office (M365) expertise.
  • Experience with InTune.
  • Eligible for UK Security Clearance.
  • Good communication (both verbal and written) skills.
  • Powershell Experience would be advantageous in this role.
  • Planning and organisation skills and administration management.
