Clinical Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our team at Medway NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Patient First strategy.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a hospital or registered care setting, with a strong commitment to customer care and teamwork. You will be responsible for providing excellent support to patients, carers, and families, while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
As a Clinical Support Worker, you will work closely with our nursing team to deliver agreed plans of care, ensuring that every patient receives the best possible service. You will also contribute to the development of our Transformation Team, helping us to shape the future of Medway NHS Foundation Trust.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a range of skills and qualifications, including a general education (e.g., GCSEs or equivalent) and a strong understanding of patient confidentiality, hospital systems, and manual handling procedures. You will also require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to project a professional manner and approach.
