Chief Cardiac Physiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in delivering exceptional patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who share your passion for providing the best possible outcomes for our patients.

As a Chief Cardiac Physiologist, you will be responsible for leading our echocardiography services, ensuring that we provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to our patients. You will work closely with our medical staff to diagnose and treat patients with cardiac conditions, utilizing your expertise in echocardiography to inform treatment decisions.

This role offers a unique opportunity to rotate through our Community Diagnostic Centres, working with our physiologists and clinicians to develop new services and improve patient care. You will also have the chance to participate in specialist echo clinics, including valve clinics and bubble studies, and assist in Transoesophageal Echocardiography (TOE).

• Lead our echocardiography services, ensuring high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Work closely with medical staff to diagnose and treat patients with cardiac conditions
• Participate in specialist echo clinics, including valve clinics and bubble studies
• Assist in TOE procedures

• BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification
• BSE accreditation
• RCCP or equivalent registration
• ILS and ASCST qualifications
• Minimum 3 years as a qualified physiologist
