We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for the commercial success of our projects, ensuring strict compliance with contract terms, conditions, rights, and obligations.
Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Negotiate terms and conditions of subcontracts, manage and process payments for specialist subcontracts and key suppliers.
- Contract Administration: Monitor and track contract obligations, undertake site visits to administer the contract in line with project progress, monitor and report on contract performance in terms of program, cost, and key events/issues.
- Budget Management: Work with the project team to evaluate the impact of budget changes, capture and report cost variances, collate Defined Cost Records for client audit.
- Reporting and Documentation: Produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliation, generate Earned Value Analysis reports, validate Subcontract Applications/Payments data, review and validate weekly cost monitors, comparing forecasted costs with actual costs, prepare monthly valuations, maintain change registers, provide commercial elements for the commercial report.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a senior commercial role, background in Energy, Oil, or Gas.
- Education: BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial field.
- Professional Membership: Membership in an appropriate professional body.
- Skills: Strong data interrogation skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, leadership experience with the ability to influence at all levels, proficient in bid knowledge.
- Legal and Contractual Knowledge: Excellent understanding of legal and contractual aspects.
- Industry Exposure: Demonstrated industry experience.
- Driving License: Valid driving license.
