School Support Position

We are recruiting for a SEN Support Worker to work with children and young people with Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities and associated complexities. The successful candidate will be working in a specialist school environment, supporting programs that enable access to learning for all pupils in an inclusive and progressive environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Attending to the personal needs of pupils and implementing related personal programs.
  2. Supervising and supporting pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities during lunchtime.
  3. Supporting pupils to understand instructions, particularly in literacy and numeracy strategies as directed by the class teacher.
  4. Establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model, responding appropriately to their individual needs.

A competitive salary of £480 - £550 per week is offered, plus a range of benefits including 28 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + 7% holiday pay. Registration Interviews will be arranged online.
