About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Inclusive Education Assistant to join our team at this vibrant primary school in Haringey. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities.

The role involves working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students, developing and implementing tailored education plans, and creating engaging learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality support to students with SEN, including one-to-one and small group work.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement IEPs, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Contribute to the creation of engaging lesson plans, incorporating diverse learning styles and approaches.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting student participation and confidence-building.
  • Collaborate with staff to develop and deliver training sessions, enhancing knowledge and skills in supporting students with SEN.

The estimated salary for this role is £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience.
