Lead Our Worship Team

Ladgov is seeking a charismatic and musically gifted Chapel Music Director to lead our worship team. As a key member of our community, you will have the opportunity to create a vibrant and engaging musical experience for our congregation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive music program that incorporates various styles and genres.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a talented choir to deliver exceptional performances during worship services.
  • Collaborate with the Chaplain and Sunday Mass Music Accompanist to select musical pieces that enhance the spiritual experience of our congregation.
  • Provide vocal leadership and direction to the choir and congregation during worship services.
  • Source and arrange music from reputable publications that align with our Catholic tradition.
  • Maintain open communication with the congregation, providing feedback and suggestions for improving our musical offerings.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A master's degree in music or a related field, or equivalent experience in a chapel/church setting.
  • Exceptional vocal skills and the ability to lead the congregation in choral music.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A deep understanding of Catholic Faith and Liturgical needs and practices.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a salary of $75,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
