Job Summary
- As Head of Junior House, you will be responsible for the academic and pastoral support of students within your care.
- You will work closely with Houseparents and other senior staff to create a nurturing environment that promotes learning, personal development, and faith formation.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a passion for Catholic education and a proven track record of developing inspiring learning environments. You will be an experienced teacher who is able to motivate and engage students, while also providing effective guidance and support.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students and contribute to the rich history and tradition of Ampleforth College.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide leadership and direction to junior house members, ensuring their well-being and academic success.
- To develop and implement educational programs that align with the school's Catholic values and mission.
- To collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure a seamless transition between subjects and stages of education.
- To identify and address any issues affecting student welfare or academic performance.
Benefits and Salary
This position comes with a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including:
