Senior Risk Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join our team at NatWest Group. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks across our technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our technology risk profile, including system change management, operational resilience, security, and risk register support/maintenance.
- Collaborate with the Technology Upper Risk Manager and wider Risk team to coach the business on technology risk regulations and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Build insights using internal and external intelligence to inform operational risk assessments and validate our risk management processes.
- Undertake regular business reviews of material risks across all operational risk standards, informing debate and action to mitigate risks.
- Lead regulation and policy read across activity and action management, ensuring effective risk mitigation strategies are in place.
- Oversee incident engagement from a risk perspective, documenting impact on the overall business risk and controls position.
- Proven track record of supporting multiple activities in a fast-paced environment, with influencing and creative skills to resolve complex problems.
- Strong understanding of market conditions and their impact on operational risks and practices applicable to technology.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment relating to large, complex financial service organizations and risk management disciplines in financial services.
- Experience of managing key stakeholder relationships, exercising sound and decisive judgment, and working in or supporting a technology business.
- Practical experience of operational risk management techniques, cloud-based environments, and AI.
