Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Manor Royal Business District. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of aircraft, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of mechanics and technicians to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and certify scheduled maintenance tasks, defect rectification, modifications, repairs, and functional tests on airframe, engine, and electrical systems.
  • Ensure that all maintenance documentation, job cards, work packages, and zonal handovers are completed accurately and within prescribed timescales.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company processes, and procedures.
  • Highlight any technical issues, discrepancies, or other issues to the Aircraft Check Manager.
  • Undertake any reasonable activities as required, including working away from the base location.

Requirements:

  • Current B1 and B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer certification.
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance and repair, preferably with a commercial airline or maintenance organization.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of mechanics and technicians.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn in-house systems.
  • Meet the requirements to hold a London Gatwick Airport airside pass.
