Care Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at Leonard Cheshire UK. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with varying abilities to live independently in their own homes.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes. You will also escort and assist individuals in and around the service, as well as support their goals and aspirations through our Person Centred approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support with daily living activities, such as personal care, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Escort and transport individuals to external events and appointments
- Maintain accurate records of individual's progress and needs
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work flexibly, and have a patient and understanding approach. A personal care qualification is desirable but not essential.
