Job Description:

The Corporate Action Processing Lead will play a critical role in managing daily information gathering and dissemination, ensuring seamless processing and compliance. This involves setting up electronic files for all events, monitoring instructions from investment managers, and reconciling and processing proceeds from events.

Responsibilities:
  1. Information Gathering and Dissemination: Our ideal candidate will gather and disseminate daily information related to dividends due and corporate action announcements.
  2. Electronic File Setup: The successful applicant will set up electronic files for all events, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Instruction Monitoring: The Corporate Action Processing Lead will monitor instructions from investment managers, guaranteeing timely receipt and processing.
  4. Proceeds Reconciliation: Our team member will reconcile and process proceeds from events, maintaining accurate records and resolving any discrepancies.
  5. Clearance and Adherence: The successful applicant will continue monitoring and taking action on reconciliation breaks, updating notes regularly and achieving clearance in a timely manner. They will also ensure adherence to CASS rules where applicable.
  6. Monthly Reporting: Our ideal candidate will produce monthly management information, providing valuable insights into operations.
  7. Ad-Hoc Support: As a key member of our team, the Corporate Action Processing Lead will participate in meetings and projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Income and Corporate Action Processing: Our ideal candidate should have extensive experience in all types of income and corporate action processing.
  • Relevant Previous Experience: Relevant previous experience for this role is necessary, and a strong understanding of UK securities administration is essential.
  • Asset Type Knowledge: The successful applicant should have knowledge and experience of servicing private client business and understanding the requirements and expectations of the HNW market.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge: A high standard of compliance and regulatory knowledge is required, covering AML, Best Execution policy, CASS, and TCF.
  • Team Player Focus: It is essential that all staff members have a strong team player focus, collaborating effectively to achieve common goals.
Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum
