Job Title: Consultant in Pain Medicine

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Pain Medicine to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Pain Medicine, you will be responsible for providing medical aspects of pain management in our Dorset Pain Management Service (DPMS).

Main Duties:

* Provide all medical aspects of pain management in DPMS
* Work flexibly as part of our team and support the wider multi-disciplinary team using our biopsychosocial approach
* Develop and implement effective pain management strategies to improve patient outcomes

Requirements:

* General medical qualification (e.g. MBBS) and a Licence to Practise
* Membership of the Royal College of Anaesthetics or recognised equivalent
* CCT in Anaesthetics
* Excellent knowledge in specialty
* Evidence of effective multidisciplinary team involvement
