About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pain Medicine Specialist to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Pain Management, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership and expertise in pain management services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide medical leadership and expertise in pain management services
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement pain management strategies
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols for pain management
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals in pain management

Requirements

  • General medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) and a Licence to Practise
  • Membership of the Royal College of Anaesthetics or recognised equivalent
  • Experience in pain management and a strong understanding of clinical governance principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
