High-Tech Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Rugby site in the UK.
Job Summary:- Evaluate and maintain equipment performance to prevent operational failures.
- Analyze complex systems, including S7 PLC, Profibus, ASi-Bus, EtherCat network, and log analysis on sorter controllers.
- Perform diversified electrical and mechanical tasks, including analytical troubleshooting, in both planned and reactive environments.
- Identify problematic faults, rectify, and monitor performance continuously.
- Backup and restore PLC.
- Ability to articulate detailed reports.
- Monitor Operational sorter performances and implement continuous improvement measures at customer request.
- Support existing site-based BEUMER Group colleagues.
- Support with project and facility management work.
- General customer support.
- Work a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, covering days and nights.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 Engineering/HNC Eng/HND Eng/ONC Eng qualification.
- Siemens Step 7 Level 2 certification.
- Knowledge of conducting sorter Health Checks.
- Understanding of sortation and conveyor systems, including LS3000 CB or TT/LS4000 CB or TT/BG Sorters/Line Sorters.
- Experience with Emergency Stop System and Safety Supervision System.
