Optomechanical Assembly Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Optomechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team at Carbon60 - Eng&Tech. As an essential member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and characterising high-tech laser systems.
About the Role:
- Assemble, test, and characterise high-tech laser systems, including Nd:YAG and Nd:YLF solid-state lasers.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality production and meet customer requirements.
- Develop and implement efficient test procedures to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and productivity.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test station accuracy, repeatability, and productivity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a physical science or engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in optomechanical assembly, testing, and quality control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical approach to tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly.
Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum depending on experience.
