About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment.

As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the hospital remains clean and hygienic, adhering to strict infection control measures. You will be responsible for cleaning wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, and public areas, as well as maintaining high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, and public areas
  • Maintaining high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors
  • Ensuring rubbish bins are maintained and removed when full
  • Using equipment in accordance with the role following all Health & Safety guidelines
  • Passionate about patient care, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
