Job Description: Healthcare Assistant - Community Nursing

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated healthcare assistants to join our community nursing team in the Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing interventions, including wound care, catheter support and palliative care. They will also be required to maintain accurate records, ensure equipment is used safely, and participate in health promotion and education activities.

About the Position:

Key Requirements:

The post holder must hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle. They must also be able to work independently, utilizing clinical skills to provide high-quality care, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing interventions, including wound care, catheter support and palliative care
  • Maintain accurate records, ensuring equipment is used safely
  • Participate in health promotion and education activities

Working Arrangements: The role will involve working predominantly independently, with regular clinical support and supervision by a qualified practitioner.

Salary: Estimated salary: £26,000 - £28,500 per annum pro rata (dependent on location)
