Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Workplace Alcohol and Substance Abuse Specialist to join our team. As a specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out workplace alcohol and drug testing as directed by the Client Service Team. You will also assist in the development of a proactive service to our clients, ensuring an effective and competent service is delivered.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice and support to help them manage alcohol and drug misuse in the workplace. This may involve working with employees who have been affected by substance abuse, providing guidance on company policies and procedures, and implementing training programs to promote a culture of sobriety in the workplace.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive rate of pay, which is influenced by the type of testing carried out and the location of the work. You can expect to earn £35-45 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.

In addition to your hourly rate, you will receive reimbursed expenses, including parking, mileage, and postage. We also offer access to an auto-enrolment pension scheme, where you can contribute up to 9% of your earnings towards your retirement.

As a variable-hour worker, you will accrue 31 days of annual leave per year, inclusive of public and statutory bank holidays. Your leave entitlement increases with length of service, so the more you work with us, the more holiday time you will have available.

This is a flexible opportunity, allowing you to choose your working hours. While we seek maximum availability from our specialists, we understand the importance of work-life balance and want to ensure that you have the flexibility to manage your schedule accordingly.
