Job Overview

We are seeking a Centre Manager to oversee a bank of support workers and ensure the safety and safeguarding of vulnerable UAS Children arriving in the UK before their placement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to vulnerable children.
  2. Ensure the safety and safeguarding of UAS Children, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to promote the well-being and development of vulnerable children.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support worker teams and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  1. Experience in a similar role, preferably in a care or support setting.
  2. Right to work in the UK.
  3. Enhanced DBS clearance.
  4. Equality and diversity training.
  5. Fire awareness and first aid training.
  6. Medication administration and food hygiene and safety training.
  7. Infection control and safeguarding of vulnerable children and adults training.
  8. Challenging behavior management training.

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, managing a team, and ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.

Pay and Benefits

£20.19 per hour.

Work Schedule

Day and night shifts, in-person work.
