Job Overview
We are seeking a Centre Manager to oversee a bank of support workers and ensure the safety and safeguarding of vulnerable UAS Children arriving in the UK before their placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to vulnerable children.
- Ensure the safety and safeguarding of UAS Children, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the well-being and development of vulnerable children.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support worker teams and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a care or support setting.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Equality and diversity training.
- Fire awareness and first aid training.
- Medication administration and food hygiene and safety training.
- Infection control and safeguarding of vulnerable children and adults training.
- Challenging behavior management training.
Working Conditions
This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, managing a team, and ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
Pay and Benefits
£20.19 per hour.
Work Schedule
Day and night shifts, in-person work.
