Job Title: Communities and Engagement Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Communities and Engagement Officer. This role will play a key part in building and maintaining relationships with local communities, community groups, and partners to support community empowerment and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community planning partnerships, neighbourhood networks, and community groups.
  • Work with partners to build community capacity and support local empowerment initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of community engagement strategies and plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to community groups and partners to help them achieve their goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with community groups and partners.
  • Knowledge of community development principles and practices.
