Agriculture Sales Director

Mercury Hampton Ltd is seeking a seasoned commercial leader to drive profitable growth and lead the sales and operations team for our niche manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and operations, with experience in managing multi-million pound businesses and developing annual sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an annual sales strategy and forecast to drive profitable growth
- Manage the senior leadership team, sales, production, engineering, supply chain, and finance functions
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key accounts and drive business development for big ticket Capex projects
- Ensure sales teams are performing to full capacity through training, development, and recruitment
- Monitor staff performance to ensure objectives are achieved and provide commercial support to materials, engineering, and quality functions
Requirements:
- Proven track record of commercial leadership, either as a Sales Manager or Commercial Leader, with a strong understanding of manufacturing, finance, and operations
- Ability to become Managing Director and lead a multi-million pound business
- Experience in building profitable sales of technical engineered products, including high-level negotiations
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or MBA preferred
- Extensive general management and leadership experience
