Job Title: Child and Family Practitioner Social Worker

Job Summary:

The Lighthouse-2 is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Case Management team. As a Child and Family Practitioner Social Worker, you will be responsible for coordinating the child or young person's journey in the Lighthouse, assessing and providing direct support to them and their family, and working closely with social work colleagues in children's social care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our duty system and provide advice to children, carers, and professionals around referrals
  • Ensure safeguarding oversight and risk management at the referral stage
  • Escalate safeguarding concerns and work closely with professional colleagues in the community
  • Provide advocacy and social work support to children and families in an inter-agency context

About the Role:

The Lighthouse-2 is a unique multiagency service that provides a holistic health assessment and medical support, emotional support, and therapeutic interventions to children and young people who have experienced child sexual abuse. As a Child and Family Practitioner Social Worker, you will be part of a busy, fast-paced team that is responsible for ensuring the seamless journey through the Lighthouse services.
