Yard Operations Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our team at Ecobat Resources in Darley Dale, Derbyshire. As a world leader in responsible recycling and production of resources, we are committed to sustainability and driving a global economy that benefits people around the world.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all material receipts and dispatches are recorded correctly, allocating material receipts to the correct process storage area, and maintaining stocks in process storage bays to ensure optimum process plant operation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Recording and allocating material receipts and dispatches according to relevant Commercial Sales/Purchase contracts.
  • Maintaining process storage bays to ensure optimum plant operation.
  • Ensuring vehicles supplying materials to or collecting from site are unloaded/loaded safely.
  • Reporting equipment or vehicle breakdowns or faults to supervisors.
  • Ensuring vehicles are thoroughly checked over prior to use and any deficiencies are rectified.

Requirements include:

  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
  • Reliability and a hardworking ethic.
  • Knowledge of Yard/Warehouse processes.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • IT skills.
  • CBAL FLT license for a minimum of 5 years.

Full training will be given to the successful candidate, but preferred qualifications include an Overhead Crane license.
