We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Yard Operations Specialist to join our team at Ecobat Resources. As a key member of our lead recycling team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our yard.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and dispatching materials in accordance with commercial sales and purchase contracts.
- Allocating materials to the correct process storage area, ensuring they meet the desired quality standards.
- Inspecting and sampling materials in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Maintaining optimal stock levels in process storage bays to support smooth plant operation.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of vehicles, prioritizing the health and safety of employees and visiting drivers.
- Reporting equipment or vehicle breakdowns or faults promptly to supervisors.
- Conducting thorough checks on vehicles before use, addressing any deficiencies and notifying maintenance personnel as necessary.
As a successful candidate, you will possess:
- Excellent teamwork and individual motivation skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of yard and warehouse processes.
- A full clean driving license.
- Basic IT skills.
- A CBAL FLT license with at least 5 years of experience.
- Preferred qualifications include an Overhead Crane license.
