Care Team Leader

About the Role:
The Care Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring the best interests of each person we support are at the centre of any decisions made about their life, working in partnership with them, their advocates, family, friends, and significant others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respecting the values, beliefs, and culture of everyone
- Ensuring that any concerns, complaints, or requests are responded to promptly and effectively
- Assessing and minimising risks to keep each individual safe
- Developing a person-centred team that makes a real difference to people's lives
- Coaching and mentoring staff
- Ensuring systems are in place to enable staff to be supported and supervised appropriately
Requirements:
- Experience of supporting adults in a care setting or in the community
- Good communication skills, patience, and flexibility
- An understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support
- Ability to undertake a flexible working pattern
- Flexibility, a 'can do' attitude, and a sense of humour
- Experience of working with vulnerable people or those with complex needs and have experience and/or a passion for enhancing individuals' quality of life through positive behaviour support
- Supervisory/management experience
- Well-organised
