Job Title: Area Cleaning Manager

This is a full-time, permanent position based on 40 hours per week, with a normal working day from Monday to Friday. However, flexibility is required due to the nature of the industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of supervisors, cleaners, and mobile support teams to ensure consistent cleaning standards across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure cleaning works and deep cleans are delivered around their needs and usage.
  • Recruit, induct, train, and manage the cleaning team, including processing paperwork and documentation.
  • Manage team performance, including holiday and sickness cover, and ensure delivery of budgeted cleaning hours and allocation of works.
  • Ensure all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met through regular auditing and customer feedback.
  • Maintain Health and Safety and Safeguarding compliance at all times.
  • Conduct Health and Safety and Quality audits, identifying trends and implementing corrective action.
  • Provide professional and presentable service with strong client-facing skills and confident presenting to key management and operatives.

This role requires a solutions-focused individual who can work dynamically in a busy environment with strong motivational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have previous managerial experience with a proven track record of delivering high standards in a service industry, preferably in multiple sectors.

A full UK driving license is required for this position.
