Caregiver for Children with Complex Needs

**Job Title:** Healthcare Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to support students in a nurturing and inclusive school catering to children with severe and complex needs.
- Assist students with personal care, including toileting, changing, and feeding.
- Monitor and attend to medical needs, such as tube feeding and medication administration.
- Provide emotional support and build positive relationships with students to foster a safe and happy learning environment.
- Maintain safeguarding and health and safety standards at all times.
The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of health and safety procedures, previous experience in a similar role, or relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or Teaching Support.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of our students. You will work closely with the teaching and healthcare teams to provide learning support and tailored care, including personal hygiene, feeding, mobility assistance, and medication administration.
