Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver for Elderly to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to residents, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to elderly residents, promoting independence and dignity.
- Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, fostering a supportive team environment.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress, adhering to regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care home or senior care environment is essential.
- Proven ability to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
- A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting residents when required.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for seniors.
Salary and Benefits:
$11.84 per hour, 33 hours per week, canteen, discounted or free food, free parking, on-site parking, day shift, overtime, weekend availability, 1 year providing care, 1 year supervisory experience required, 1 year social care experience preferred, driving licence preferred, NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care preferred.
