Care Team Lead

About the Role: As a Care Team Lead at Sunnyside House, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to live fulfilling lives. You will be responsible for leading by example, promoting good leadership skills and teamwork among staff, and contributing to a culture of excellence within the home.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individual care plans for residents, ensuring high standards of care and attention to detail.
- Monitor and evaluate care programs to meet resident needs, making adjustments as necessary.
- Provide personal care assistance to residents, prioritizing their dignity and well-being.
- Lead daily activities and ensure a stimulating environment for residents, incorporating their preferences and interests.
- Administer medications, maintaining accurate records and adhering to policies.
- Supervise staff, promoting good leadership skills and teamwork, and contributing to quality assurance initiatives.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience caring for older adults, people with disabilities, or those with mental health needs.
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 Award in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and willingness to work towards Level 3.
- Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- A caring and empathetic disposition, with a commitment to respecting residents' dignity and autonomy.
Salary: £13.03 per hour, £13.13 with NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (estimated annual salary: £27,000 - £30,000).
