Care Assistant Lead

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Sunnyside House, Bangor. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents while maintaining high standards of professional practice.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Care Planning: Assist in designing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
- Leadership: Provide guidance and supervision to staff members, promoting teamwork and collaboration to achieve our goals.
- Administration: Manage administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, and adhere to confidentiality protocols as required by law.
- Additional Duties: Participate in daily devotions, lead spiritual programs, and engage in regular staff/resident/relative meetings to foster a sense of community.
**Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential: 2+ years of experience caring for older adults or individuals with disabilities; NVQ/QCF Level 2 Award in Health and Social Care (willingness to work towards Level 3); basic IT skills for using Microsoft Word, email, and electronic recording systems.
- Desirable: Leadership experience in a paid or voluntary role; knowledge of relevant legislation for residential settings.
**Physical Requirements and Special Circumstances:
- Health and reliability for attendance and work performance; ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, on-call shifts, and nights.
- Maintaining registration on the Northern Ireland Social Care Council register; adhering to Christian ethos principles.
**Salary and Benefits:
