About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team in Newtownabbey, County Antrim. As a key member of our store leadership team, you'll play a vital role in driving store performance, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving store goals and objectives
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, focusing on talent development and succession planning
  • Drive sales growth and profitability through effective inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer engagement
  • Ensure excellent store standards, including visual presentation, stock levels, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement business plans, strategies, and initiatives
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on talent development and succession planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
