About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team in Newtownabbey, County Antrim. As a key member of our store leadership team, you'll play a vital role in driving store performance, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving business objectives and driving store performance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities.
  • Ensure excellent store standards, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers.
  • Manage stock, inventory, and store operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement business plans, strategies, and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Deputy Store Manager or similar role in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and store maintenance.
