About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team at Zenoot Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to lead and develop our manufacturing engineering team, drive business growth, and implement process improvements.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in precision machining manufacturing environments, a strong track record of New Product Introduction (NPI), and excellent leadership, mentoring, and influencing skills. They will also be responsible for managing the engineering budget, developing capital investment plans, and optimizing process capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of NPI
  • Lead and develop the skills and capabilities of the manufacturing engineering team
  • Develop capable processes and standard work within manufacturing engineering and manufacturing operations
  • Partner with corporate engineering groups to drive company-wide best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement plans and lean methodology throughout the business
  • Ensure coordination with other departments to develop a unified approach for processing new products or improving existing products
  • Manage the engineering budget, develop capital investment plans, and optimize process capability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred in Engineering)
  • Experience in a precision machining manufacturing environment
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and influencing skills
  • Proven track record of successful NPI
  • Aerospace experience preferred but not essential

What We Offer:

• Estimated annual salary: £80,000 - £100,000
